Our learning based programs include many excursions and incursions to stimulate and challenge your child's imagination. We apply the Victorian Government's Early Years Learning Framework as a platform upon which we build.
Our renovated, easily accessible premises is located on the corner of Bluff Road and Thomas Street in Hampton. Our Centre is full of natural light, air-conditioned, fresh and fully equipped to provide a stimulating learning environment.
We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and ensure that our food menu is nutritionally balanced with an emphasis on fresh produce.

Our cook will make and serve authentic Australian food while the children will sing Australian songs, do craft activities and listen to dream time stories during our rest and relaxation times.
Each year we celebrate Chinese New Year – Year of the Rat 2020. This helps the children broaden and explore their social and multi cultural awareness of the world they live in. The children spend the day making culturally related crafts that they can share with their families.
This day of love is a chance for the children to produce beautiful pieces of art for their loved ones. There are different activities throughout the rooms making every gift unique. Children freely express their emotions and are involved in meaningful interactions with peers and educators.
The story of Shrove Tuesday is told to all the children during group times. We encourage the Kindergarten children to become involved learners by having them help our cook prepare pancakes for afternoon tea.
Crazy hair day is a day to let your creativity come out and shine. All educators and children enjoy this day as they all have a chance to look different with the multiple wig choices. We also have a ‘busy parent’ area where, if requested, our team will do your child’s hair for the event. This helps create a smooth drop off and ensures that no child is left out.
This incursion is held annually for all age groups between 9.30-11am. Traditional performers come to our Centre and hold age appropriate workshops. The children will experience the music, song and dance from cultures different to their own. The talented performers present a fusion of music and culture and encourage the children to be fully involved by way of traditional stories, rhythms and the playing of traditional instruments. The learnings about different cultures arising out of the activities are then built into the weekly curriculum.
Children and families bring a packet of biscuits to be donated to the family room at the Ronald McDonald House Monash Chapter. At Boutique Bubs we believe that, being a privately owned service, we should encourage all of our educators, children and their families to support local charities by the use of theme days (including a and gold coin collection), biscuit drives and collecting nappies for families of domestic violence. At the end of each year all educators participate in a toy drive for the Ronald McDonald House - Monash Chapter this helps provide gifts for families staying in the house over the Christmas period. Supporting these charities brings great awareness for giving back to the local community.
A traditional Easter egg hunt is held at the Centre for all children. The Kindergarten group participate in an Easter egg hunt at Thomas St Park at 10.30am. This promotes the children’s self-awareness and independence as they walk to the park and are involved in an egg hunt and picnic lunch with their educators.
Living Eggs attends our Centre to set up a hatching program. The children will experience the chickens life cycles and growth and development. The program encourages social interaction and promotes caring and nurturing skills.
All children and their educators come dressed in their favourite colour or colours to promote the children’s creativity and their sense of belonging within their rooms.
Mothers are invited to come and join us for afternoon tea at 3pm celebrated throughout the Centre. Your child will prepare a take home gift for their mother leading up to this event. Mothers are invited to an afternoon tea at 3pm and participate with their children in craft activities, photo booths with dress ups and many more fun activities.
Children will learn about the rights of Australia’s first people to feel valued and the right of all Australians to know the history and culture of the land we call home

Sustainability plays a large role within Boutique Bubs including being an important part of our curriculum. During environment week the children learn new strategies of how they can be involved learners and contributors to the world they live in. Our service is also part of the Little Green Steps program. This is a three-step project that provides a way for sustainability to be integrated into the workplaces of childcare centres, inspiring and empowering children, parents and childcare workers to initiate and achieve tangible sustainability.
Children of all ages will become butterfly experts as they learn about a butterfly and its life cycle in this interactive program
Each room is treated to an animal workshop by our external provider - Wild Action Zoo. The children are invited to get up close and personal with the animals. In the past we have worked closely with crocodiles, possums, snakes, bats and Bruce the koala. This experience always creates a buzz of excitement. Wild Action Zoo’s goal is to inspire people to develop an interest and empathy in all things wild by delivering a responsible, sustainable and educational wildlife encounter. Parents are always invited to stay and experience our incursions along with our children.
National NAIDOC Week celebrations
Come dressed in your Pj’s all week
The whole Centre transforms into a book wonderland with displays created by the educators and children throughout the centre. Book week is a magical time at Boutique Bubs. All week the educators are encouraged to dress up as different characters from their favourite books. During the week children bring along their favourite story to share within their rooms. Children will use creative arts such as drawing, painting, drama, dance, music and storytelling to express themselves during book week. Theme: Dreaming with your eyes open
Another great tradition at Boutique Bubs is our Fathers Day afternoon tea at 3pm. Dads and special frends are invited to play with their children in the yard and even have their portrait painted by their child/ren.
Children will come dressed in their favourite football team/player colours. Our centre cook provides us with a famous footballer lunch before we head out to the yards to test our ball skills and develop hand and eye coordination. Children will learn about the Australian Football League including both men’s and women’s competitions.
Excursion to the Museum of Play & Art. Exhibits and activities at the Museum are crafted to provide rich opportunities for play-based learning and creative exploration. Children will be travelling there and back by Venture private bus.
As we have a multicultural society we encourage the children to learn about other countries and how they celebrate their culture. During the Festival of Lights the children take part in art, painting and cooking. The children will exchange ideas and their understanding of different countries and their people and cultures.
A professional photographer will attend our Centre to take studio portraits of the children as well as capturing natural photos of the children engaging in their activities throughout the day.
Grandparents and special friends are invited to play with their grandchildren and enjoy afternoon tea.
This is a hands-on program, which will include a farm show, train ride around the farm and a visit to the wetlands. The children will travel there and back by private bus
Our family BBQ is an annual event for our families at Boutique Bubs and is always a popular and well attended event. The event will be held at Thomas Street Park at 6.30pm. A BBQ dinner and drinks will be provided and Santa will attend for the children. This gives us a chance to give back to the families and thank them for another wonderful year with us. During this time families have the opportunity to meet and talk to the educators and the owners of the service.
Children to arrive at 6.45pm.The kindergarten graduation is a highlight for all families in our kindergarten room. As the children are transitioning from kindergarten to school our class performs a concert designed to show how they have reflected on their time with us at Boutique Bubs.
