What is Xplor?
Xplor is a secure and private online program designed to help you stay connected with your child and their Educators. Xplor will record and share your child's milestones and activities and begin a record of your child's life you'll cherish forever. Our educators will use Xplor to communicate with families and share your individual child's learning and development in a secure environment. Xplor allows our educators to upload photos and videos of your child during their time at Boutique Bubs while they engage in activities and participate in our education program. This can be done in either a private conversation or a group community post.
How do I access Xplor?
Parents/guardians will be able to access Xplor once they sign up to the service and fill out their online enrolment form, families will be sent a link to register. The App is available to download on Apple and Android devices.
Once the App is installed you will receive notifications instantly when a story has been published about your child/ren. Families are also able to comment on the stories published by educators keeping the lines of communication ongoing. Families will also receive updates on their child’s routines during the day as well as she their financial details. All payments, statements CCS rebate updates
As the parent you are the owner and have control of your child's digital footprint (Xplor does not own your data). You can decide who has access to your child's information and all of its content. You will have secure access to the Xplor App and all its features allowing you to add or remove people at your discretion. Once you have your Xplor account this will remain with you whilst you move through the different age groups at Boutique Bubs and can continue even after your time at Boutique Bubs concludes. It is up to you.
New families will be invited to join Xplor on enrolment. Xplor will only be used to communicate your child's learning and development, group learning reflections, program reflections and goal setting for your child as well as your finances.
Who are the administrators?
The Centre Director and Assistant Director are the administrators of the account. As administrators they will remove your child once their care ends at Boutique Bubs. As a parent/guardian you will continue to have access to the account because you own it. We will only remove the child from the Boutique Bubs account.
Security
Our educators will have individual passwords to login to Xplor. Xplor adheres to Government standards for cyber safety.
