Storypark Program

What is Storypark?

Storypark is a secure and private online program designed to help you stay connected with your child and their Educators. Storypark will record and share your child's milestones and activities and begin a record of your child's life you'll cherish forever.

Our educators will use Storypark to communicate with families and share your individual child's learning and development in a secure environment. Storypark allows our educators to upload photos and videos of your child during their time at Boutique Bubs while they engage in activities and participate in our education program. This can be done in either a private conversation or a group community post.

How do I access Storypark?

Parents will be able to access Storypark through the website https://www.storypark.com/au/ or it can be downloaded as an app on Apple and Android devices.

Once the app is installed and you have invited our educators then you will receive notifications instantly when a story has been published about your child. Families are also able to comment on the stories published by educators keeping the lines of communication ongoing.

As the parent you are the owner and have control of your child's digital footprint (Storypark does not own your data). You can decide who has access to your child's information and all of its content. You will have secure access to the Storypark app and all its features allowing you to add or remove people at your discretion. It allows you to give access to other family members and close friends within Australia or around the world and share your child's photos and videos. Parents can also invite special teams such as speech therapists, psychologists or even nannies to link with Storypark, allowing your child's world of education, health and care to be available to those you feel would benefit from knowing more about your child.

Once you have your Storypark account this will remain with you whilst you move through the different age groups at Boutique Bubs and can continue even after your time at Boutique Bubs concludes. It is up to you.

New families will be invited to join Storypark on enrolment. Storypark will only be used to communicate your child's learning and development, group learning reflections, program reflections and goal setting for your child.

Who are the administrators?

The Centre Director and Assistant Director are the administrators of the account. As administrators they will remove your child once their care ends at Boutique Bubs. As a parent/guardian you will continue to have access to the account because you own it. We will only remove the child from the Boutique Bubs account.

Deleting a Storypark account

If you wish to delete your child's online portfolio from Storypark, you can do this by following instructions on the Storypark website. This will permanently delete all photos, stories and notes. The administrators (Centre Director and Assistant Director) will receive an automatic prompt to back up the child's profile for our records.

Security

No one can find your child's Storypark account unless you invite them. Our educators will have individual passwords to login to Storypark. Storypark adheres to government standards for cyber safety. You can find more information at https://help.storypark.com/how-your-information-is-kept-secure
